ugh. another weekend. another illness.

my throat's sore.

and I can't stop coughing.
saturday I hung out with nazifab & shea... and I did hurl obscenities at both of them.
we played some soul cal... and I got beaten every time I played.
:(
we didn't get around to playing tekken, so I'm just gonna go with me-sucking-at-soul-calibur instead of the always unattractive me-sucking-at-fighting-games-in-general.
and I made them sit through a bit of eddie izzard - they're just kids and didn't get hardly any of the references...
and what else?
sunday evening javi-er came by wanting chicken fried steak.
so I showered & we headed to the pour house.
turns out the kitchen's closed on sundays...
we'd invited irbyface & lus... irby didn't show, but lus did.
I tried to buy lus a happy graduation shot, but he's sobered up.
so I toasted him by myself.
his bday's this weekend... I've gotta think of something cool to get him.
I talked to the ever popular sam rol ken last night...
using skype. it was kinda weird to hear him after all these years... not at all how I remember him sounding... he's got a pretty sexxxy voice.
and I can say that with no worries because we discussed last night how he never reads my blog.
lol
seriously though he does sound a lot older... and not as... country?... as I remember him sounding.
and now for an ffx update.
I got yojimbo last night all by myself.
and let me tell you.... I spent ~ 250,000 gil to get that fella to join my party... and apparently you hafta pay him to participate in battles!
not only do you hafta summon him, but you hafta pay him gil to attack whoever you're fighting! and you don't get to pick what he attacks with! you just pay him and he chooses based on how much you pay!
I think I'm gonna stick with bahemut for now.
... since I have no money to see what yojimbo's attacks are... I spent all my money befriending him...
